Titled 'Yours Sincerely,' this new collection of works is scheduled for release on September 11 under the Ghostly International label. This album follows his 2019 offering, 'Hochono House,' and promises a continued exploration of his unique musical vision.

Exploring the Essence of 'Omoiyari' in Music

Hosono revealed that the inspiration behind the album's title, 'Yours Sincerely,' originated from his contemplation of the Japanese term 'omoiyari.' He elaborated that while the phrase typically translates to 'to suffer together,' in a broader Japanese context, it also encompasses the joy of shared experiences. He noted the subtle yet fundamental differences in perspective and emotional depth inherent in this concept.
