Hasselblad, renowned for its exceptional cameras, has now introduced its advanced photographic software to the Android platform. This highly anticipated release, Phocus Mobile V1.0.0, aims to enhance the mobile workflow for photographers using Hasselblad's X2D II 100C, X2D 100C, and 907X & CFV 100C camera models.
Phocus Mobile is meticulously designed to integrate the Hasselblad Natural Color Solution (HNCS) onto mobile devices, ensuring vibrant colors, seamless tones, and intricate detail in images from initial viewing to final export. The application is equipped with AI-driven noise reduction and a comprehensive editing toolkit, alongside streamlined photo preview and management functionalities. This enables photographers to efficiently review, refine, organize, and export their captured moments directly from their smartphones, providing unprecedented flexibility in their creative process. Additionally, the app supports HDR images from compatible Android cameras, allowing for the reveal of HNCS HDR visuals that capture lifelike details, highlights, and color gradations. It also features HDR highlight adjustment for greater control and supports the export of HDR images in Ultra HDR JPG format, and RAW images as Ultra HDR JPG or HDR TIFF.
Furthermore, the application incorporates Hasselblad Natural Noise Reduction (HNNR), specifically optimized for high ISO settings. Leveraging AI, HNNR delivers cleaner, more natural-looking images while meticulously preserving fine details. Trained on an extensive dataset of Hasselblad images, HNNR significantly reduces noise in 100MP RAW files. Users can choose between 'Purity Mode' for maximum noise suppression or 'Detail Mode' to retain luminance noise and micro-textures. This feature is particularly beneficial for low-light photography or situations where in-body image stabilization is unavailable. The comprehensive editing suite also includes exposure adjustment, curves, white balance, monochrome correction, lens correction, sharpening, cropping, rotation, and keystone correction, all applicable to high-volume editing workflows. For optimal performance, Phocus Mobile requires Android devices with at least 12GB of RAM and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor or newer.
