Philly Duo @ Announce Sophomore Album 'Autosmile' on 4AD, Share Title Track and Tour Dates

Philadelphia-based psych-folk act, known creatively as @ (pronounced "at"), has officially revealed their signing with the renowned British independent record label, 4AD. The duo, comprising Victoria Rose and Stone Filipczak, is preparing to launch their second full-length album, titled Autosmile, on October 16. This exciting announcement is accompanied by the release of the album's lead single, also named "Autosmile," along with a captivating live performance video. Fans can anticipate a series of North American and European tour dates this autumn, where @ will either support other acts or headline their own shows.

Before signing with 4AD, @ initially self-released their debut album, Mind Palace Music, in 2021. This critically acclaimed work was later reissued by Carpark Records in 2023, who also released the duo's EP, Are You There God? It’s Me, @, in the subsequent year. Their distinct sound and growing recognition have paved the way for this significant new chapter with 4AD, a label known for its diverse and influential roster.

The upcoming album, Autosmile, features eleven tracks, each promising to delve deeper into the duo's unique blend of psychedelic and folk influences. The tracklist includes evocative titles such as "Bird," "Love in the Dark," "I Know You Are (But What Am I Thinking)," "Earthly Love," "Your Dog," "Untitled," "I’m Not in Pain," "Punish My Mind," "Judgement Farmer," the title track "Autosmile," and "Amity." In support of their new album, @ has planned an extensive tour schedule. Their North American leg in the fall will see them performing in cities like Seattle, Vancouver, Portland, San Diego, Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, Boston, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, and New York, often appearing alongside YHWH Nailgun and This is Lorelei. Following this, they will head to Europe in November for a series of headline performances in Paris, Bristol, Leeds, Glasgow, Birmingham, Manchester, Dublin, London, Amsterdam, Leeuwarden, Berlin, and Brussels, offering fans across two continents the opportunity to experience their captivating live show.
