Maison Interiors, the design firm behind this project, has crafted a space that marries the elegance of Italian Modernism with an inviting, accessible ambiance. This innovative approach offers patrons a setting that feels both aspirational and comfortably chic, far removed from overly ornate aesthetics.
The culinary establishment, situated in the vibrant resort city of Scottsdale, benefits from a design ethos that seamlessly integrates with the region's outdoor-oriented lifestyle. Mary Lu Quick and Mary Bryan, co-founders of Maison Interiors, collaborated with the Western Addition restaurant group to achieve this vision. Quick articulated their objective: to cultivate an atmosphere of relaxed luxury, reminiscent of a vacation, while simultaneously providing an environment suitable for upscale evening attire.
The interior boasts a dynamic interplay of textures and finishes spread across two levels, carefully selected for both aesthetic appeal and resilience in high-traffic zones. A cork-clad greeter stand introduces a tactile element, echoing the subtle mosaic patterns embedded within the flooring. Expansive glass doors glide open, linking the interior to an inviting patio where guests can enjoy their meals, perhaps after a leisurely round of golf.
Rich walnut and pale white oak elements are strategically employed to infuse the space with warmth and a delicate visual contrast, notably in a distinctive patchwork wall design.
