Jay-Z Announces New Concerts in Paris and Los Angeles

Jay-Z is expanding his performance schedule with new concert announcements for his "Jay-Z30" series, set to take place in two major international cities: Paris and Los Angeles. These highly anticipated shows will add to his already growing list of engagements.
Roc Nation officially announced on Tuesday, June 9, that the acclaimed artist will perform at Stade de France in Paris on Thursday, September 10, and at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on Friday, October 23. Tickets for these events will be available starting Thursday, June 11, through presales from Citi and Mastercard, with general sales commencing on Friday, June 12, at 10 a.m. local time via Live Nation.
These newly announced concerts come on the heels of Jay-Z’s appearance at the Roots Picnic in Philadelphia, where he headlined in May. During his performance, he transformed his set into a mini Roc-A-Fella Records reunion, inviting former collaborators such as Beanie Sigel, Freeway, and Young Chris to join him in performing classic tracks. A particularly memorable moment from the show was Jay-Z’s impromptu a cappella freestyle, during which he addressed various criticisms and remarks from alleged targets, including former business associate Damon Dash, Drake, Kanye West, and Nicki Minaj. Furthermore, Jay-Z is scheduled to perform three shows at Yankee Stadium the weekend of July 10, with additional dates added due to high demand after initial tickets sold out rapidly. These performances are building up to significant milestones: the 30th anniversary of his debut album, "Reasonable Doubt," on June 25, and the 25th anniversary of his sixth studio album, "Blueprint," on September 11.
Jay-Z's continued presence on stage and the anticipation surrounding these anniversary celebrations highlight his enduring impact on the music industry. His dedication to his craft and his ability to evolve while honoring his roots serve as an inspiration to artists and fans alike, underscoring the power of artistic longevity and creative resilience.
