Unveiling 'Florida Water Blues': A New Sonic Chapter

Caspian Hollywell and RJ Santos, collectively known as Twisted Teens, are set to release their second album of the year, 'Florida Water Blues', on July 10. This follows their February offering, 'Blame the Clown'. The title track from the new album is already available, complete with a visually engaging music video directed by Jack Massuci, showcasing two spirited punk characters.

The Creative Pulse Behind the Music

'Florida Water Blues' is a comprehensive 13-track collection, marking the duo's third full-length album. Hollywell eloquently captures the essence of their band, describing them as "The Kinks of living in a school bus with no wheels on it. The Rolling Stones of Jungian anarchism. The Buzzcocks of the poisoned bogs of south Louisiana." He playfully characterizes their genre as a fusion of punk and country, or vice versa, emphasizing its catchy nature and superior performance metrics.

The album features a diverse array of tracks, including "Why Did You Miss It?", "Hand Me a Cigarette", "Swamp", "Guided Thunder", "Florida Water Blues", "Top of the World Hwy No. 2", "Concealed Weepin’", "Riding", "Business", "Javelina", "Weather the Season", "Dancer", and "Sun Go Down".

Extensive Tour Plans: Summer and Fall Expeditions

Twisted Teens have announced an extensive touring schedule for the summer and fall. Their summer leg includes stops in Chicago, Detroit, Toronto, Montreal, Brattleboro, Cambridge, Garwood, and Philadelphia. The fall tour will see them supporting The Breeders in Los Angeles and Del Mar, and joining Kurt Vile & the Violators for a series of shows in Buffalo, Columbus, Louisville, St. Louis, Milwaukee, Des Moines, Lawrence, Omaha, Fort Collins, Denver, Fayetteville, Memphis, New Orleans, Athens, Charleston, Charlotte, Richmond, and Baltimore.
