Houston, Texas – This autumn, from October 2nd to 4th, the George R. Brown Convention Center will once again transform into a vibrant hub of contemporary art, as Untitled Art, Houston returns for its highly anticipated second edition. A special preview day will precede the public opening on October 1st, offering an exclusive first look at the curated collections.
This year's fair marks a significant expansion, boasting an impressive lineup of 95 galleries, an increase of seven participants compared to its debut in 2025. This growth signals a burgeoning interest in the Houston art scene and the fair's increasing prominence. Among the notable additions are several prestigious blue-chip dealers making their first appearance, including Anton Kern Gallery, Nara Roesler, Night Gallery, Richard Saltoun Gallery, and kaufmann Repetto. These esteemed institutions will be joined by a dynamic mix of emerging and established enterprises such as Situations, 1301PE, Kates-Ferri Projects, Moskowitz Bayse, and Crisis.
The event will also welcome back a strong contingent of returning galleries, including Sicardi | Ayers | Bacino, Luis De Jesus Los Angeles, Charlie James, La Loma, Half Gallery, Nino Mier Gallery, Patel Brown, Hair+Nails, Library Street Collective, and Tern Gallery. A particular highlight is the fair's dedication to local talent, with 17 Texas-based exhibitors participating. Nearly half of these local galleries, including F Magazine, Laura (the gallery), Martha's, Nature of Things, and Seven Sisters, will be featured in the "Nest" section, designed to support emerging art spaces with reduced participation costs.
Michael Slenske, the fair director, expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming event, stating that the "incredibly encouraging" response has drawn exhibitors from five continents. He emphasized the fair's deepened collaborations with approximately 30 Houston cultural institutions, underscoring "the growing momentum around the fair and Houston's emergence as a major center for contemporary art."
