The Visionary Renovation: K-Studio's Transformative Touch
When Dexamenes Seaside Hotel first opened in 2019, it was the culmination of a meticulous renovation by Athens-based K-Studio. Their approach was precise and respectful, reusing concrete cut-outs from new window installations as terrace flooring. Custom furnishings were integrated into a minimalist metal pipe system, appearing to float above the aged surfaces. Textured glass insert walls were added, preserving the brutalist aesthetic of the original buildings. What was once a bustling wine facility is now a serene sanctuary.
Expanding Horizons: New Suites and a Unique Culinary Experience
The hotel's evolution continued with the introduction of eight new Seaview Terrace Suites, constructed atop the original wine tanks. These accommodations boast prime views and feature expansive verandas shaded by wooden, pergola-style canopies, providing a harmonious contrast to the surrounding concrete. Additionally, the innovative dex.Silo.01 culinary space was unveiled, making clever use of a tank silo.
